It's better than the one on the front page of this site.

SG: How many people are on the road with you in total?

Chauntelle: Well, there are five of us and our dad is our tour manager, so he's always with us. We have two crew guys who are awesome. We also have a bus driver. We also have an opening act with us and our younger sister is performing with him. She's 17. It's been amazing to have her with us this time around.

so they packed ten ppl into the bus (minus the driver)? that's crazy!!

unless that's just on the tour

That's really funny how they feel people find them unapproachable, cause I think they totally are. Or maybe I'm just a wuss. But they've always got straight faces and are walking like they have somewhere to be...so I've never stopped them to say hello. I think I'm just a wuss. Laughing

But Boyd I talk to every show. Smile He's really friendly!

I think they are afraid of us, perhaps more so than we are afraid of them.
That's just my suspision.

When I have had the opportunity to talk to them they are incredibly sweet, and genuine, but I think a little overwhelmed. I don't blame them.

it is/was the promo photo given to general media people.
my mom did an interview with them and the person she was corresponding with ahead of time gave her that picture to use for the article.

That's very true... they're just shy. But once you stop them, they're really sweet and appreciative of your compliments.

Yeah I remember back in the day when I was like "Why are Sherri and Stacy just standing in the back [and keeping to themselves]?" I didn't assume they were rude though... Cause I get that same thing, I'm shy, not mean, so I understood. Smile

I completley relate to them. I have three siblings and we were homeschooled and when we're out in public or in social situations we tend to stay in a group I think because we know each other so well. It's kind of inevitable that if you're homeschooled you become really close to your family. I was homeschooled from sixth grade to twelfth. So I know my siblings extremely well. I'm sure it can be intimidating for "outsiders" to try to talk to us because we're so close and so intune with one another. And I do think people take us for snobs but the fact is we are shy! That's why we stick together! One person I know told me she thought we were a bit snobby because when we were out we would only speak to each other but she stuck around and broke through that. But I so admire people who are brave enough to approach a stranger and speak to them. It takes some real guts.

this made me think of little animals, heh.

I'm usually a shy one myself, but I just force myself to remember that they are humans too, and they are really easy to talk to...they are possibly the furthest things from snob. snobbers don't make grilled-cheese-wiches for each other.
