 Post subject: Edit: PICTURES and Review of the Austin show on 8/13Posted: Tue Aug 14, 2007 9:44 am 
I had SUCH an awesome time at the show!!!! i got there at 6:10 and was 7th in line so i got to sit second row, center. i was videotaping the majority of the time so i got a lot of great footage which i hope to have up on youtube in a few days. i bought two great eisley shirts (gray and blue), a Quiet Company CD, and got some free Eisley stickers. When Wesley Jensen played (which was fantastic) and Christie (sp?) got up and sang her first solo part, all the eisley fans started cheering and she smiled bashfully. i got that song on tape, it was beautiful and called This Town. After the show, i got a picture of her and my brother and she was so sweet and we had a nice conversation. plus i got a picture of the band staring at me and me looking scared  it was wesley's idea...
When Chauntelle sang her solo in I Could Be There For You, she did such a beautiful job, everyone was cheering her too and she smiled shyly, it was sweet but i didn't catch her smile on the footage all the songs were played top notch! the singing was all perfect and they even played TrolleyWood without messing up at all. The only flaw in the show was when Garron started to play the Marxophone, it was way outta tune so he just left the stage. that was sad cuz i really wanted to hear the Marxophone! but oh well, besides that it was amazing. and after the show i got to meet them and shake their hands and talk to them and it was SO FUN!! i meant to talk to boyd and tell him how much i appreciate his blogs but he was always talking to someone so oh well. oh and i asked about the bonus track. as everyone knows already, Marsh King's Daughter was one, i forgot the other, and they said that the one from their New Years video was gonna be released soon. the one with the horns and lyrics of: "come on come on let's take a chance, we could fall in love" they said that song didn't make the CD cuz some lady said it was "too weird" i said "no way! i loved it!" this morning i bought the new CD and listened to it on the 5 hour trip back home :] oh and luckily i didn't have to endure the drunk-punk's singing since he wasn't really near me. shweew oh yeah and also my video footage, in some parts, was me zooming in on sherri and chauntelle's hands so i could learn the chords so i hope the people who view the videos don't mind too much :/ _________________ .Arrgh!drey |

sorry I didn't read it all. I stopped after you said you got a blue shirt. I planned on buying a blue one, but as I was getting Wesley Jensen's cd the Eisley merch guy put a tote over the blue display shirt and in my head I thought "Oh he's covering it up. That must mean they're sold out." and just went back and took my seat. I just realized the somone might have been buying a tote and he put it out there for the person to have...wow. Now I'm pissed. edit: the two b-sides are Marsh Kings Daughter and Like the Actors |
