a similar thread brought this subject to mind. I know they do a lot of collaboration when it comes to songwriting, but I was curious as to which song was written more, by whom. i kind of sorted it out a bit by assumption. there's also the leaked songs (which are kind of a taboo subject, but they're information nonetheless?) that kind of give us a clue. this is what I came up with. Stacy: Go Away I Could Be There For You Come Clean Ten Cent Blues Like the Actors Sherri: Invasion Taking Control A Sight to Behold Combinations If You're Wondering Marsh King's Daughter maybe Kim could help us out? I'm not too sure about Many Funerals.. that seems like a tossup between the two. also: I could be totally wrong. I'm just assuming. anyone else think any different? |

Sounds like a good guess to me, though Invasion was a true co-write. Sherri started it, but Stacy came in to add a part. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Agreed! And with Many Funerals, I believe it was Sherri. I just remember when people were trying to figure out the lyrics when they first started playing it, Sherri actually posted it (the first version of the lyrics anyway) on here. And there was something said, I forget what, but it lead me to think it was a Sherri song. I remember Boyd saying something about the "writer" too (as oppose to "writers") changing the words a bit from when they first debuted it. Edit: Whooooo found it! http://www.eisley.com/laughingcity/viewtopic.php?t=19740&postdays=0&po storder=asc&highlight=funerals&start=15 |

it's not on the cd. How do I hear it? Like The Actors was in the running for the album, but got cut. You can still hear the recorded version streaming at http://absolutepunk.net/artists/showlink.php?l=1768&catid=2<r=E You can also probably find some live Mp3s and vids, cause they played it live often during the Final Noise tour. _________________ |
