...Sherri's and Stacy's vocals? I'm sure this has been asked before, but I was just reading all these reviews of 'Combinations' by fans and I wondered if people can tell when Sherri is singing or when Stacy is singing. It's obvious sometimes but, can you tell on some of the choruses who is singing the melody and who is singing the harmony? And the way they switch off singing verses like Stacy starts 'Go Away' and Sherri sings the second verse. I think it's fun to listen and try and figure it out...

It's part of the challenge (that doesn't really mean anything) with Eisley. The first time I listened to them I figured it was just one singer (from the only picture I had of them from the EP I figured it was who I came to know was Chauntelle). Then a while later the Marvelous Things video came out and I finally got it. Now it's easy for me to tell the difference.

i dont think it was so much on room noises, but now that stacy's voice has matured into a total babe, its really obvious on combinations.

even on the choruses

what songs (exactly) are you talking about not really being able to tell on the chorus?

Hearing their speaking voices (eg. in interviews) helped me a lot, but mostly it just takes some time. A few points on Combinations confused me a bit at first, but I think I've mostly got it now.

I just meant who sings melody and who sings harmony. It took me a bit at first to figure out that Sherri sang the chorus on 'Marvelous Things'. Actually when I first heard Eisley I thought Sherri sang all of the vocals just because she seemed like the center of all the pictures. I think their voices really blend together on the choruses. Sometimes Stacy (who I consider to have a slightly lower voice) does a high harmony and it gets lost in Sherri and almost sounds like two Sherris... But after all, they are sisters...

I can always tell the difference. Their voices are like night and day.

When I first heard them I didn't know there were two vocals but now I can always tell them apart.
