The 6/8 section sounds deliciously dorian in a folk rendition. Needs more screaming IMO. Cool

Good job, =)

What's it doing?

I thought to vocals sounded a bit off but, the guitar sounded great. Smile

It's lovely Smile
I especially like how you did the "break, break down" part.

Did you wait longer than a second for it to lead? Those things take a while sometimes.

I actually like your chorus rendition (the "break, break down" part) much better than Eisley's...honestly I think that the chorus is what turns some people off from that song (as evidenced by the "elimination" thread when it made an early exit).

I think maybe you should have sang certain parts down an octave or put it in a key where you could sing the high parts a few notes lower. I also would have like the guitar to be a bit higher in the mix.
Otherwise, good work.

Pretty damn cool.

I'm still undecided on which song to cover myself.

Nice. The guitar could have been a BIT louder just to balance everything out, but that was awesome.

Thanks all!

I did the mixing late at night when I'd been listening to it for, oh, about two hours, so I probably should have waited until I had fresh ears and I'd have noticed that the guitars were too low. Wink I've turned the guitars up a bit in this version.

Aww, I liked the chorus. In fact, the additional vocals to the chorus is what made the song go from Confused to Very Happy in my mind!

But yeah, I like your rendition of the song! The only thing is you should've called out "REEEEEEEE-MIX" at the very beginning. Wink

Seriously, I like how you took a folk twist to the song, it works well.
