It's lovely I especially like how you did the "break, break down" part. _________________ To Write Love On Her Arms the world is poor because her fortune is buried in the sky and all her treasure maps are of the earth. |

I think maybe you should have sang certain parts down an octave or put it in a key where you could sing the high parts a few notes lower. I also would have like the guitar to be a bit higher in the mix. Otherwise, good work. _________________ EvilSpace |

Did you wait longer than a second for it to lead? Those things take a while sometimes. Thanks Nora and i think that it sounds great i like it alot. _________________ |

Pretty damn cool. I'm still undecided on which song to cover myself. _________________ virb.com/dontlisten - mymusic - |

Nice. The guitar could have been a BIT louder just to balance everything out, but that was awesome. _________________ Facebook & Twitter & Blog(ish)-type thing |

Thanks all! I did the mixing late at night when I'd been listening to it for, oh, about two hours, so I probably should have waited until I had fresh ears and I'd have noticed that the guitars were too low. I've turned the guitars up a bit in this version. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Adam the Human wrote: I actually like your chorus rendition (the "break, break down" part) much better than Eisley's...honestly I think that the chorus is what turns some people off from that song (as evidenced by the "elimination" thread when it made an early exit). Aww, I liked the chorus. In fact, the additional vocals to the chorus is what made the song go from to in my mind! But yeah, I like your rendition of the song! The only thing is you should've called out "REEEEEEEE-MIX" at the very beginning. Seriously, I like how you took a folk twist to the song, it works well. |
