okay so i tried my best searching to see if there was already a thread out there with this topic but i went through pages and pages and nothing seemed to fit so i am starting a new topic because i am feeling daring today and i had to share these photos i stumbled upon late last night.

i took my little brother tristan, who was 9 at the time, to his first concert EVER and let me just say that he will forever be proud that his first concert was such an awesome band (my first concert was new kids on the block- nuff said) . i remember how excited he was. i am telling you, he couldn't sleep the night before to save his life and we must have listened to "my lovely", he favorite song, at least 100 times during the course of the week prior. he would shut himself in his room and just listen for hours, singing at the top of his lungs and trying desperately to learn the guiter parts, which eventually he did- with sum help from his guitar teacher! but still, i was SUPER PROUD! i have never seen him so excited for anything in his life. when i was looking at these pictures i HAD to share em. i could go on and on about the funny and cute and incredibly hilarious things my brother did before, during and after the show but i think i've wrote enough.

i think it is one of the most joyous things to see someone you love just so full of life and excitement and happiness. thank you eisley, for doing what you guys do and for being so welcoming. watching my brother at that concert was one of the best things my heart has ever felt!

BEFORE THE SHOW- ON THE WAY...............

TRISTAN- MESMERIZED AND SINGING ALONG TO MY LOVELY......

PRETTY SELF-EXPLANATORY R THESE NEXT 2

by the way, this was july 15th 2005 in st.petersberg florida when eisley was touring with hot hot heat. we didn't stick around for them because a kids gotta sleep!! plus, when you are 9 you have a one track mind and all he cared about was eisley.
thanks for reading guys!

Aww...that's the best story ever!
Chauntelle and Stacy are sitting behind me in the office, learning chords to their new songs, and I read this outloud to them, and showed them the pictures.
They're all over there going, "awww....that's so cute!" Wink

Your lil' brother is so lucky that he was able to see such an amazing band (and meet 'em too) for his first concert. Like you, my first was kind of embarrassing (LFO and Dream), but I was like eleven and stupid... so yeah.

it makes me happy that he's learning guitar parts and listening to such good music at an early age like 9. simply awesome.

That is sooo cute. You are a great sister! My sister also took me to my first concert (Peter Gabriel on his "So" tour, I'm old) and it is still a great memory for me. Very Happy
