Is there a non-demo version of that song anywhere?

Hahah, that's just how it sounded to me. Not saying that's what you were saying. Laughing

And you should say "to each THEIR" own". Since not everyone you say that to will be a guy.

Actually according to proper grammar, if you wish not to specify a specific group (aka...be generic)....you should use the masculine pronoun. So, "to each his own" is grammatically correct....even it is meant to include the female population.

How this makes things more clear, I do not know. I think grammar is silly and we should all just say our favorite words over and over again.

I don't care what's grammatically correct about that statement! It's not politically correct. Is that the right term? Haha. Whatever, I think you get the point....

Well, if something seems really politically incorrect to I wouldn't say it. So yes, I would try to be PC

Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing Laughing You have NEVER attempted to be PC.

And technically the correct term is "To each his or her own," since "each" is singular and "their" is not.

Political correctness can get in the way of the artistic merit of language. Saying 'to each his or her own', while completely correct, it sounds clunky and effectively ruins this common phrase. Personally, I don't think many women would be offended by this save for the ultra feminist types (not feminist in terms of financial and social equality, but in terms of pointless semantics such as these).
