Hey everyone! i remember Boyd posting in a journal a while back that a family friend of the Duprees was on tour with David Crowder Band. My family owns Hartman Music Group, a concert promotion company in San Antonio. HMG brought the Band here on the remedy club tour- their show was last night. After the show, i was hanging out in the dressing rooms/backstage, and talked with a guy who does the video for the tour. He said he's from Tyler, and I said "no way, my favorite band is from there!" and he's like "Eisley? They're good friends of mine!" Small world! I thought that was really cool. the show was good too, even though i missed the openers because I was scanning and tearing tickets. Catch a date if you can |

Y'know, A friend and I were helping Tyler James hand out flyers for his show at the HOB the other night, and we walked into the David Crowder band show (which was downstairs) to hand some out, and I saw Christie. I was like, "grrl, git you some David Crowder!!" No, I wasn't. Really. I looked away. And did my job. _________________ Gosh, writings music Ryan5 wrote: I still love Eisley a gamahucheing million time better than farting |

I am going to see David Crowder on the 22nd in Boise. He is such a funny guy. LOL And, of course, great music. I have both of his books. I particularly liked the first one. I could relate to some of the stories, and it was so wonderful to read such a great book about praising God. The second one is good, but a little trickier to read. |

If anyone is going to the show, please try to catch Phil Wickham (I'm pretty sure he's opening for the whole tour). He's darn swell. _________________ www.myspace.com/hezusmusic |

i recommend his awesome book (even if you don't like god its good): Everybody Wants to Go to Heaven but Nobody Wants to Die that book is deliciously hilarious, and really really good. he's got a lot of really good things to say, about death and mourning and life and whatnot, but he's also just really funny and random. _________________ Facebook & Twitter & Blog(ish)-type thing |

David's first book is "Praise Habit: Finding God in Sunsets and Sushi" And he is very random indeed. He once blogged about mean squirrels being out to get him. It was a funny piece. I saw him at Creation Northwest and asked if he'd run into any mean squirrels lately. Without missing a beat he replied, "All the time, nasty little creatures." LOL It made me laugh lots. Maybe you had to read the blog and be there, but it was funny, trust me. Anyway, I also saw Phil Wickham at Creation Northwest. He's definitely worth seeing. I hope someone remembers the words to the song. LOL |

I'm seeing David Crowder on the 16th of October in SF!! He absolutely rocks. I saw him at his church in Texas perform the song "Neverending" from the new album for the very first time live. And he played a guitar hero guitar. incredible. Phil Wickham's purty good too. And has anyone even heard of The Myriad?? they're opening for the tour, and they're pretty awesome too. David Crowder's first book is Praise Habit, which is awesome and probably deeper than you'll know. His second is Everybody wants to go to heaven...etc. _________________ "I am the patron saint of lost causes" |
