Honestly, never heard of Jason Schwartzman, have you?
I'm definitely going to check the album (since Sherri says so Wink) but the cover is very similar to that of a French pop singer's album that came out before summer. Can't recall the name of the singer though!

The "lip-art" is pretty cool though - I guess we all find original ways to entertain ourselves when bored Very Happy

It's all I've seen him in! I'm sure the other movies you mentioned are far more credable.

OT: It's downgrade in doing Shopgirl because although Claire Danes is in The Family Stone which I love, I want to hit her in the face for breaking up Mary Louise Parker and man. You don't mess with MLP.

i haven't seen Shopgirl, but are Rushmore and I Heart Huckabees really that much better? i know they've got a following and all, but my reaction to both was pretty much the same: they're enjoyable enough when they're on, but are completely forgettable once they're over, and there's absolutely no reason to see either one more than once! actually, i just looked him up on the IMDB, and that's how i'd describe every movie he's been in that i've seen! and the only ones i might ever want to see, but haven't, are Marie Antionette and The Dajeering Limited…

i'm planning on checking out his album, though, 'cause Sherri said so… i'm not a fan of Phantom Planet, though…

I like Coconut Records but I did actually find "The Guest" by Phantom Planet alright to listen to. It wasn't groundbreaking, more happy summer music.
