My friend gave me a copy of the January 2004 issue of Spin (we have a Chris Martin fixation; don't ask), and on page 64, in "Artists' Faves," they ask Liz Phair what her favorite mucial moment was. She said it was "Eisley at the Sasquatch! Festival." Pretty cool. Brand New is also all over that issue of Spin, with a little profile towards the front, and they're #35 in Spin's 40 Best Albums of the Year. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I agree. That was like the worst representation of 2003. It was like the middle-of-the-road, safe-white-guy list. _________________ "It's the new golden fact." |

That's an awesome list. 50 Cent or Jay-Z shouldn't be there, wtf. The New Pornographers should be number 2 and then the Strokes should be number 3. _________________ "What's with these homies dissing my girl?" - Weezer "I think I know I mean a yes but it's all wrong, that is I think I disagree." - Beatles My Livejournal |

the unicorns didn't make the best album of the year! its got a couple kind of fun songs, but theres nothing about that album new or daring enough to make it get that kind of recognition _________________ "Without music, life would be a mistake." -Friedrich Nietzsche |
