"Eisley, Combinations. Now these girls are like, they come from like, like a town like Napoleon Dynamite, right. Where it's in the middle of nowhere and no one lives there, and they've got the most angelic voices, and they're the most incredible artists. And they remind me of kind of The Cranberries or something, and um, and they're so good. All they have to do is stand there and sing, and it's like angels singing. So I think the more we have of that kind of stuff, the better." == Sounds like love to me! |

to people from huge cities, cities like Tyler might as well be as big as Preston. I'm from a city nearly the exact size of Tyler (except we have 3 starbucks) and when I moved to KC people thought I was from some small town with one stoplight. I'm not a huge Blink or Angels fan by any means (in fact his voice is on my list of people never to listen to again), but it's great they're getting on some best of lists. Maybe SPIN or HARP will give them something... |

180,000 ... minus 80-90,000. Tyler is 100k at best (though some people LOVE to say 100,000). But yeah, still considerably larger. There are a lot of small towns around, though. Even if Tyler isn't so small. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Tyler is right on the cusp of 100,000. And especially if they count Kilgore, they'd definitely start pushing up higher. _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

That's not a TOWN. Here I am thinking Tyler is totally boonies, and their area is bigger than MINE. I'm from Parma, Ohio, population 80,000 (roughly) and that's considered a major suburb. Although I live in the city of Chicago now and everybody thinks I'm from a cornfield. |

(going to be a bit harsh) But I am surprised nobody noticed how pretentious Tom was by mentioning his band in the top 10 albums AND 2 top 5 songs of the year! _________________ www.timkimdesign.com www.myspace.com/timkimdesign change is happening. |
