Now that 07' is almost over I wanted to relate my Eisley moment of 2007. It was after a show at the signing table and Sherri had just handed me the EP they had all signed and I said to her "thank you so much," and she said "you're very welcome", and she looked as though she was as glad to see me as I was to see her! At least that's how she made me feel, and I'll never forget that. Thank you Sherri! A happy New Year to all! _________________ Mike=] |

mine don't really have anything to do directly with Eisley, but they're Eisley related: Driving all day to Nashville for the acoustic show made for some good memories. and getting my order from WB with the litho twice by mistake was great too (sorry to anyone who didn't get a litho due to them running out. I already gave the extra away.) I would say the Lawrence show was great, but yeah...(it did have it's great moments. When the lights were on and Chauntelle's guitar worked.) they did the best they could and they were nicer than ever after. |

The Brewtones show was awesome. There were many good Eisley moments, but that is tops. That and the Combinations release day. The Brewtones show was a better experience, but both were very memorable. Oh yeah, and hearing Combinations for the first time was really great. http://www.flickr.com/photos/theantrider/2114135901/in/set-72157603481 908776 http://www.flickr.com/photos/theantrider/1122248251/in/set-72157603481 908776 http://www.flickr.com/photos/theantrider/1124195778 _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

No doubt the acoustic show in San Francisco. I came late but still got to hear my favorite songs from the new albums and I was simply blown away. The cd will never sound as good to me. And of course all the jokes they like to crack on stage are always hilarious. _________________ Boyd wrote: That's not rock and roll... that's just gross. |

The best moment for me, heh, was when I got to meet the band members, especially stacy and garron. _________________ http://www.flickr.com/photos/karatherecluse http://www.rosewhiteboyhood.tumblr.com |

This year I got to see them for the first times ever, so most of my moments happened in this year. The Atlanta acoustic show was marvelous- they blew me away. They sounded great. When I saw them with MuteMath a few months ago, they still sounded great, but getting to meet them (and hug Stacy and Sherri and get a t-shirt from Sherri and thanks for my cards ) was the best. Hehe. _________________ No one sensible believes in ghosts anyway- that's because they're all such liars. |

The instore at Dallas was definitely really cool. Chatting up Weston about my Weston shoes was fun too! Then driving speedily over to the HOB to get in there just minutes before Wesley went on. Then hearing Combinations and If You're Wondering live... wow. Simply gorgeous. But the craziest Eisley-related highlight has to be getting lost in Dallas for about a half hour after the acoustic show (it was my first time driving in a city without a parent to direct which ways to go). So it was my friend and I lost in Dallas... Lol! It was pretty funny looking back on it, but really scary during. At least I can now say that I know Dallas really well... Getting out of the MuteMath show was really easy though. Lol. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me. Well I had never ever been to a concert before (like a real rock concert) and the Eisley concert at the House of Blues was my first. IT WAS AWESOME! I MET THE WHOLE BAND! _________________ Say something witty, dammit! http://kimschaefer.bandcamp.com/ http://youtube.com/kimschaefermusic |

HOW COULD I FORGET?! Chauntelle SINGING! I saw the first time she sang on ICBTFU (in March in Fort Worth, TX), and I think it has to be the single best concert moment I've ever experienced. She's a brave one, and such a good singer. I'm so happy I got to witness it. http://www.flickr.com/photos/theantrider/422846966/ _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Like many have said already.. their acoustic show in Sacramento was definitely a highlight... but seeing them about a month later with Mute Math was UH-mazing. I made it a resolution to see Eisley and actually talk to them (I have been to god knows how many shows yet have been too shy). _________________ www.timkimdesign.com www.myspace.com/timkimdesign change is happening. |
