Browsing around macworld I found this company called Gelaskins. http://www.gelaskins.com/ They make protection skins for laptops, ipod, iphone; etc. It would be cool if the company was able to purchase rights to use Sherri's artwork. I know a lot of fans here would purchase them. Maybe Sherri can make a few skins and sell them at concerts. =) |

They do custom orders with a minimum of 50 units (I imagine that 50 units of a single art for a single device). I think to be worth while, the band would need to provide skins for the 5th gen iPods and later, as well as for laptops, so that'd be a minimum order of 250 or so skins. That'd be about a $6000 investment. I have no idea of that's feasible or not. _________________

Or they could start with one or two, and then it wouldn't be quite so steep. And that site's really great, I've been thinking about buying stuff from there for ages and if they put Sherri's art up I'd definatly seal the deal. |

i thought about getting one of those, but as i keep virtually everything in my pockets (pens, coins, keys etc..) it is just going to get destroyed. i have quite a tough little case on my nano and after a week of having it the plastic case is scratched to pieces. may design my own for my macbook tho... _________________ flickr.com/notathome smile

hey, those are really awesome. thanks for the link. oh ps. if you want custom ipod skins, i know theyre not this jelly kind like they sell here but they have that ipod sticker paper you can buy then print whatevs on it and wrap it around your pod. ive never personally used it so i dunno how good it is _________________

i was looking at that site those skins are really sweet. I would definitely buy an ipod skin with Sherri's artwork on it. |
