the new Mac Book Air commercial has a song in it by Yael Naim called New Soul, and her voice in the song sounds a real lot like Stacy's. Anybody else think so? Every time I see the commercial I kinda jump a bit lol because I WISH Eisley had a song in a commercial. _________________ Don't you let them tell you you're an ugly child. I wouldn't mind Eisley in a Mac commercial, especially considering how many iTunes releases they've had. Now, if they started dancing around with a Pepsi can scantily clad... That's a different story. _________________ Tell me. Oh won't you take my hand and lead me? |

selling out is an annoying and over-used term. Selling out is going against YOUR own values and compromising and the only ones that know if there is a sell-out are the person and God. So anyone else using the term pretty much annoys me. Kind of a pet peeve. LOL |

from http://stuffwhitepeoplelike.wordpress.com # Bands that have had their songs in an Apple ad are still marginally acceptable # Bands that have had their songs in ads for other companies are not acceptable # If you mention a band you like and the other person has heard of them, you lose. They own you. It is essential that you like the most obscure music possible _________________ guitarfreak217 wrote: Everyone, listen to Leigh. That's why I decided after one semester that being an art major was a bad idea for me. I'm not sure if you're being sarcastic, but still. I think people should read from Atlas Shrugged by Ayn Rand. I really like what she was getting at: that money represents what's good about a society because it represents the best about people, which is hard and honest work. anyways...I hate music elitism. I used to be a full fledged music snob, but I have found it's a pretty damaging way of thought because you put yourself on a higher plane because of the music you listen to. Music is there to be enjoyed...so enjoy it! _________________ j'ai pas envie d'être un robot, métro boulot dodo -Kelli |
