Post subject: I call on you Eisley fans that are smarter than me. :-)
Posted: Thu Mar 13, 2008 8:30 am I have been trying to get Eisley's presence out into other music blog communities. Yesterday, I set them up on: Fuzz.com Reverbnation.com Promotemysong.com I tried to set them up on Bebo, but could only find registration for an individual. Any help on that one would be appreciated. Also, if you guys know of other sites that we should be promoting Eisley on, PLEASE, please let me know. We want to saturated them before the tour. and....if you guys go and join these sites, (they're all pretty cool), and help back up Eisley on these, than I can't even tell you all how much it would be appreciated. I know your time is prescious, so we won't be offended if no one has time. Any help with any of the above mentioned stuff will get you automatic, over the internet hugs from the Eisley/DuPree bunch! Thanks! from all of us. |

True, but by actively updating their iLike page they can reach anyone who lists Eisley as a preferred artist, not just the people who are big enough fans to seek out a group. _________________ |

At the end of this article (called "Beyond MySpace"), there's a long list of music networking websites: http://www.performermag.com/beyondmyspace.php The Facebook group is still there: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2204628223 |

Well, I didn't realize you were talking about that stupid application. http://www.facebook.com/pages/Eisley/8257679769?ref=s http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=2204628223 These two pages seems good enough to me. Updated frequently enough it seems. |

http://www.daytrotter.com/ I go here to find new music all the time, but this is something only the band can do to put up so idk if they have time to do it before the tour if not I think they should do it during the tour while in the area of the studio, it'd be a great way to get more recognition. (from the 'ABOUT' section), Daytrotter Sessions These fine people – as they’re traveling through America’s heartland – take two hours out of their travels between shows to stop in for a Daytrotter Session at Futureappletree Studio One in downtown Rock Island, Ill. The name of the city is not ironic. They use borrowed instruments, play with their touring mates, utilize an often unkempt toilet, eat some food and then cram back into their vans for the last half of the drive. What they leave behind is a pile of ashes, sometimes a forgotten stocking hat and four absolutely collectible songs that often impart on whomever listens to them the true intensity that these musicians put into their art, sometimes with more clarity than they do when they have months to tinker with overdubs and experiments. These songs are them as they are on that particular day, on that particular tour – dirty and alive. We want you to make this your new home as it is ours. We promise that you will love it here." _________________ I've gotten so good at lying to myself. When I fly solo, I fly so high. |

I left a comment about the tour on the Last.fm page: http://www.last.fm/music/Eisley/?autostart=1 And on the PureVolume page as well: http://www.purevolume.com/eisley I wonder if y'all can update those pages more prominently, however. The Imeem page for Eisley has a link to "Upcoming Shows," but it's currently blank. http://eisley.imeem.com/ Maybe you should sign up as an "Artist" here: http://www.projectopus.com/user/bandregister The main website has a toolbar that lists upcoming "shows" by artists. |

I got an email from that pickRset site. You can register there and "become a fan" for Eisley and supposedly pick the songs you wish to hear at the show in your city. I know Eisley had this for one of their tours before, don't know if it has any effect on their actual set list but you can boost their fan number at least. http://www.pickrset.com/bands/eisley _________________ we're really not alone, we have each other |

I would definitely look into this! Eisley would be perfect candidates and the exposure these artists receive is phenomenal because not only do they get Daytrotter fans but other music blogs often post to go check out the site because they have just posted sessions from _________. _________________ "I ask none to live for me, nor do I live for any others.
