Just got home from the show at Maxwell's (first time they played NJ, whoot!) and I just had to log on and say that Eisley was absolutely amazing (as it seems everyone has said about their previous shows, because they're just that good). My Dad came along with me, and he was very impressed by them - It takes real talent to give a live show that lives up to the performance on an album, but Eisley can do it. Anyway, they're my favorite present-day band and I wasn't sure how many Jerseyans there are who come on the forum, so I was forced out of lurker status to give my humble review. Two very enthusiastic thumbs up! Please play Jersey again!

Maxwell's was incredible. (200 capacity!)

The band actually improved their already great live show.

The new "Lady of the Poof" was a definite upgrade.

No guest appearance from the elusive Ghettofabolous. Confused / Wink

Sherri mentioned she was having a crappy day but the crowd cheered her up. Glad we can help. Razz

Aww, I'm glad it was a good show for you guys.
Just wondering, around what time did the show end?
I just want an idea for tomorrow. Thanks.

i'm coming out of lurker status too to say that tonight was incredible! i brought along several friends and i think they came out fresh eisley fans. i hadn't seen them since i saw them on their summer scenic tour in philly, so it was a breath of fresh air to see them again. and so inspiring! lovely bunch of people.

Awesome! Welcome back, and I'm glad you had a good time! I saw them in Philly on the Summer ScenicTour, too! Good times.

Boyd said, like 120ish presales. There could've been sales at the door too. It felt right for such a small room.

Haha thanks Laughing
No, I had to take the PATH back into the city and make my way to the Transit Authority to get my luggage from baggage check which closes (I thought) at 12:01.

Nice find! I don't know why people don't add more tags so we can actually find this stuff.

Awesome! Thanks so much for posting that video. Eisley has been near and dear to me for a while now... I saw them at the Electric Factory in Philly a few years ago, and seeing Chauntelle having so much fun rocking out is what got me playing guitar again... And then Combinations came out while I was studying abroad in India, so, of course, I had it shipped to my address there; it got me through some pretty bad homesickness!
