I'm not posting this simply as a reply to another thread that's been infesting this forum...I don't really post at all even though I've been going to Eisley shows since 2004, but I feel a real close kinship to the band, like many of you do, and I want to say that when I saw them last month in NYC, I was completely blown away by Sherri's intensity. Not that she's been holding back in the past, but there was something overtly different this time...and I've seen them many many times. I talked to Boyd about it too...it's real and it's spectacular (to borrow a line from Seinfeld).

Throughout the show I just couldn't take my eyes off of Sherri...there was an urgency, a passion and a vulnerability that was totally compelling and honestly pretty awesome, almost as if she was experiencing every note she sang at a deeply personal level. The difference was obvious to me from the first song.

After multiple shows on multiple tours, performing the same songs over and over, it's just totally effin inspiring to me that they can still find ways to grow in leaps and bounds as artists. This is why when she (Sherri) saw me before the show and asked me "don't you get tired of coming to see us?"...this is why the answer is a resounding 'NO...never.' After seeing that show, I'm more optimistic and excited about Eisley's future.

Yeah, I noticed that.
She kept holding her head and bent down to play guitar.
Very cool.

When I saw them, she seemed passionate but almost reclusive (if that makes sense).

There is nothing better then to watch someone completely lost in their music and full of so much passion while performing. I'm really glad Sherri, and the rest of the band is really excited and just having a blast up there, because you can definitely tell.

I think the whole band is stepping it up this time around.

As for sherri, both time I saw them this tour I thought she was going to inhale the mic during IWP.

I think they're doing great and they know that some people expect bands to run, jump, kick, slide, etc. across the stage, but that's not them.
