How good/bad do you think the New Indiana Jones will be?
It will suck because George Lucas has lost it.

It will be awesome because Lucas isn't directing.

I must admit I've really been looking forward to having a new installment in the Indiana Jones series but I'm also worried it will be "Phantom Menaced". I'm wondering if others have high or low hopes for Kingdom of the Crystal Skull.

Considering that I liked Phantom Menace, and I like Indiana Jones ... I'm feeling pretty positive about it at this moment. My answer is not on the poll. ha ha. Also, everyone is forgetting about the Steven Spielberg and Harrison Ford factors here, in favor of bashing George Lucas.

"it will be awesome because it has an actor from even stevens in it"

The poll is totally loaded against your position and I'm keeping it that way. Razz

Steven Spielberg has kind of lost it lately (with the exception of Munich), and the last thing Ford did was the laughable Firewall, so their involvement doesn't give me much hope. And any hope I did have was dashed by the trailer, which just looks lame. Seems like Hollywood blew their quality wad on Iron Man and no other decent films are coming out this year. Sad

It will be amazing because Shia Labeouf and Karen Allen are in it. Very Happy

In all the production photos I've seen of her on-set, she looks AMAZING. She's what, 50? 60? Still a freakin' babe. I might go see it just for her.

Why is everyone failing to mention the biggest reason for hope?

If she read the thing and wasn't immediately horrified, then it stands a chance. Confused

She does have great taste in choosing roles but on the other hand maybe even Cate would overlook some flaws in order to do a fun role.
