I need to listen to the acoustic version, Escaping Song is in my top 5 alternating favorites.

Oh my gosh, I had a revival of that song recently. Between the bridge, the intro/outro, and the urgency mixed with beauty of the lyrics and music, that's one incredible song. Goes to show that you don't necessarily need to have twenty different instruments and sound effects like some bands use excessively in order to make one great song.

Another thing that those excellent bridges make me think; Eisley songs are almost like books/novels. Like Jaime said, as a whole, they actually "go somewhere" and have a purpose.

The story might just be imagery and feelings put together by words and descriptions (like Marvelous Things) rather than an actual event or single topic (like Go Away), but mixed with the music you have the exposition, the risin action, the climax (bridge), the falling action and the resolution. Well....kinda sorta. That's my "just woke up from a nap" analysis. Laughing

The bridge in "If You're Wondering" always makes me emotional.
