if you didn't know Ryan Adams has a blog where he posts videos of joke songs and demos, etc. it's pretty funny. he did it for a while before and then deleted everything. there was one demo/video he made for a song called Cobwebs that might be one of my favorite songs of his.
anywho; (warning - there's some profanities)

I only own Love is Hell and Rock N' Roll. I really adore Love is Hell but I dislike the other one.

I think he makes pretty good music, but he's such a rampaging jerk that I don't think I'll ever be able to get into him.

those are the least "ryan adams-y" albums of his.
most of his other stuff i guess falls under "alterna-country," but not exactly.

a year or two ago he was putting up whole new rap/punk, etc albums on his website for free. i guess just these things he did real quick.

one of his fake bandnames is Werewolf, but he spells all different kinds of ways Werewholphf, etc.

what rampaging jerkiness are you referring to Jamie?

He's alright. I will see him open for Oasis next week and I think that tour should be renamed the a-hole tour. Very Happy

you know, that whole a-hole/Ryan thing - i got into him around Love is Hell time and that was the topic back then - 4 or 5 years ago. it's been said that incident where he asked the guy to leave was blown out of propotion. i don't remember any incidents since then.

I really don't know where he got his reputation but I do know why the Gallagher brothers deserve their reputation.

I used to work with a guy whose sister is an up and coming country singer who once performed after him at a TV function. Anyway, they all said said he threw multiple tantrums, was completely rude and made the process entirely miserable for everyone (audience included). That was around early 2006, but it was still a couple of years after the Bryan Adams incident. It's enough to convince me that he's lame.

ok two incidences.
does this mean we can't enjoy Seinfeld reruns because of what Michael Richards did? Laughing

Ha ha. Well. Michael Richards was still not the main character in Seinfeld, nor did he write it. If Jerry Seinfeld were up there saying that stuff, I might have a harder time. But Ryan Adams is so central to his own music that he named it after himself. ha ha.

Like someone said,
