Ever wonder how awesome it wud be to hang w/ the crew for a day? Like, noy just the band members but with Christie and Jess and Boyd and everyone else too?

I'd probably end up taking lots of pictures w/ Sherri and Christie. And maybe I'll ask Chauntelle to teach me to play guitar and have Weston let me rock away with his drums... haha

What if it turns out you didn't really have much in common?

I got to sit with them a bit before a show once and then after the show. It was only Boyd, Chauntelle, Stacy and Garron after the show. Before the show it was the girls and Boyd. It was fun since they were really nice. Christie, Israel, Kayla and Mark were there too...and Jamie. Smile

they'd reaaally love that. Laughing
But, you did give me this idea: if this day was in Edinburgh, I'd take them on probably the first ever coffee-house-crawl. Laughing I'd also take them to the shop which i (still) (sometimes) work at.

We'd go to the parking lot.

...anyways. i always thought that'd be cool. especially since how close and weird and goofy they are is the exact same as my siblings and i. weston reminds me of my brother. they're both tall and lengthy and funny. pretty much the same humor, too.

Indeed, as long as your family are super nice people. ha. The Eisley bunch don't quite spend every single hour writing songs (well, maybe they are closer to that when they are writing ...), drawing pictures and being Eisley. I would imagine you'd have about as much fun hanging out with your own close friends.

That's the nice part about Eisley: They are like anyone else. They are special people in many ways, but that doesn't really make them better than anyone, nor does it bring them to some untouchable status. Aside from that, it can be quite enjoyable hanging out with a lot of nice, good-natured, fun people. Smile

(That said, it has annoyed me consistently over the 5 years I have followed this band how some people -- and I don't mean just from the Internet -- have to go out of their way to be holier than thou and so above things as they can't get excited about the band, and they have to ridicule others for getting a little too worked up.)

I just have to say that "cud" is the worst possible contraction of "could," and is it really that much trouble to type two extra letters? Based on the title of this thread, if I could spend a day with Eisley, we'd stand around chewing our cud the whole time. Razz

Actually, I'm pretty sure I'd want to spend my time with Eisley the same way I'd want to spend time with Thom Yorke. We'd go bowling. I'm not sure why.

Oh bowling is an awesome idea. Plus with the amount of people you could have two teams which means...competition!

If they were here as in London, I think we'd probably spend the whole day in Topshop on Oxford Street. At least the girls would enjoy it, considering it's four floors of clothing, accessories and vintage stuff. Along with about a gazillion Starbucks on the actual Oxford Street.

It would probably be awkward, seeing as I don't know them and all.

We'd either go to Disney World or create a new musical.

I agree. The few times I've "hung out" with them after a show it involved me standing there not sure what to talk about...I felt like an idiot.

They're awesome people of course...just too awesome for me.
