So, I was dreaming of a white Christmas, with Christmas songs playing aloud, only to realize they were being sung/played by Eisley.

So, when (if ever) will Eisley be releasing a Christmas album? Orrr maybe just a Christmas themed song?? Very Happy

(I'm sure this has probably been discussed/mentioned/beaten to death before so, if that is the case, please throw me a link to the old thread Smile )

They have the winter themed song the Winter Song on the Marvelous Things EP. I personally wouldn't want them to do a Christmas song.

Not necessarily a Christmas song. I wouldn't like to see them do COVERS. Generally, when a band or solo artist releases an album of traditional Christmas songs, it's when they're desperate for material to put out. Ha. Though I do own that particular song, I wouldn't mind having a collection of original songs that are based on the holiday spirit, with the appropriate instruments for Christmas-esque tunes. (whatever those may be. Haha)

i've said it before and i'll say it again. i'd love to hear Eisley's spin on Christmas music. they played "O Come O Come Emmanuel" live at the Vineyard once and it was incredible.

Sherri, Stacy and Christie also performed with Kim on "O Beautiful Star of Bethlehem" at the Vineyard. Kim sure has a set of pipes, as well.

i'd love for them to release a Christmas album. and i really think they should.

It seems to "run in the family." I bet Boyd is secretly hiding his hidden vocal talents. Either that or I picture him shredding on guitar? Maybe? Hah.

I wouldn't mind if they released an album similar to Sufjan's "Songs for Christmas" in the way that they would have originals and covers... Very Happy

That's some tough competition. Sufjan's sloppy Christmas home recordings pumped out in a few weeks are better than most records released in any given year, Laughing

So you want them to sing Feliz Navidad or Auld Lang Syne?

Good luck with that one.

Feliz Navidad is the most annoying Christmas song next to the one "last Christmas I gave you my heart" song. And Auld Lang Syne is the new years song that I'm sure everybody has heard but nobody really knows the name to it.

In short, the first was a joke, the second started as one but then I thought about it and it didn't seem terrible.
