I have a nagging suspicion that most people's joined dates will correspond with their favorite era. Wink

I agree with your theory. Can you agree with theories? It's the one I like. ha ha.

My favorite "era" would be now (I'm qualified! I've heard new songs ... and everyone will soon), followed closely by the LC era. Yes, when I joined. Laughing

It's a tie for me, cause I didn't join until it was a necessity, but had been a fan for a good long while, who only came to the site to read Boyd's then ever present updates. So either I vote twice, or don't vote at all, what are the rules? Are the rules: There are no rules?

Lucky, lucky dog.

I can't pick a favorite era. So I guess I won't choose.

Combinations FTL?
I was stuck between EP and Room Noises, but "Silver Bugs" pushed me to the former.

I heard the old EPs first, and then I saw them live. After that I bought Room Noises because it had just come out, and then I found out about this site.

For awhile I was really into the EPs. I couldn't help but vote for Room Noises though. I just like that era the best. It was when the music really sunk in for me.

Yeah, I didn't vote cause I got no ruling on the rules. Yes, uber-dorky and technical, but I am what I am...

Anyways, looking at these results I am gonna just go for broke. The EPs are Iconic Eisley in my mind, but Combinations works so well as a Album musically. To me the energy and skill on display made me proud to be a fan since Marvelous Things. They delivered on the potential showcased back then and then some. In retrospect, hearing it, and then finally downloading EP1 & 2 aka Old Works, Combinations puts it all together, cause Room Noises let go of some of that early edge, one of the bands greatest strengths.

So, though it pains me to prove Pantheon right... I am not gonna let this travesty go down uncontested!

Vote Combinations, if for nothing, for the fact that they toured with bands that weren't headscratchers Wink

I can't decide between the RN era and the Combinations era. RN was special because it was my introduction to my favorite band since the Pixies but I have fonder memories of the Combinations era. This feeling has a lot to with how much I loved Eisley's show in Seattle last year.

It was a tough choice between the EPs & RN, but I went with RN. I just love that album.

Can I pick all of them?

If not, I'm gonna go with whatever encompasses Head Against the Sky. Old B-sides, I suppose.
