I just recently bought an " old " EISLEY T-shirt on eBay for my daughter, Samantha. It was actually new, unworn, with original tags... childrens size Medium. Anyway.. its dark green with a rectagular Sherri drawing on the front: pine tree/Christmas tree on the left with a robed figure coming out from behind the tree. He has a "cresent moon" for a head and face and is holding a giant toothbrush! There is also some other brush or tree branches filling a lot of the background. On the right side , barely visible against this tangle of branches are the words: "MERRY CHRISTMAS, SAID THE MOON... AND WE ALL BRUSHED OUR TEETH AND PUT ON OUR SMILES..." (or something very similar.) I know I should probably know this, but I don't I know, I'm a terrible EISLEY fan Does any one recognize it or know what its from...? just curious- thanks! _________________ Dan and daughter, Samantha - We Love Eisley! |

^ if you are a terrible fan, then I am not a fan at all cause I have NO CLUE where that verbiage comes from... So I reject your standard cause I think I am a pretty big fan, and the fact that you have the shirt, have passed your love down to another generation and care to know the significance of the words is big time dedication and devotion. You are a bigtime fan by my standards. _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. Thanks! I thought maybe it was some infamous lyric from a long-ago EISLEY/MossEisley song that everyone else knew about but me... Its a really cool shirt though! And as usual, Sherri did an outstanding job on the drawing. Samantha loves it.. If anyone does know the origin of the shirt, drawing, words, etc. , please let me know. (And that includes YOU, Sherri! ) _________________ Dan and daughter, Samantha - We Love Eisley! |

Thanks Kim! Be sure and tell Sherri how much Samantha loves it ( and the beautiful fairy drawing Sherri did for Sam, too!) Any idea what the words are from... or did Sherri just make that up? _________________ Dan and daughter, Samantha - We Love Eisley! |

It's a VERY awesome shirt ( and my Samantha looks awesome wearing it! ) Still wish I knew where Sherri came up with the words, though. You can barely see it in the photo, and I didn't even notice it the first time I looked at the shirt after we received it... but just to the right of the toothbrush, below the moon's hand , is the Eisley logo ( The stylized "E" in the circle emblem) . And just below that in the same greenish-gold coloring (below the toothbrush, and above the word " EISLEY", is the text : "Merry Christmas said the Moon, and we all brushed our teeth and put on our smiles..." The words really blend into the background though. It's a totally awesome shirt ~ and only Sherri could come up with it Too bad that because of the small kids size, Samantha (10 yrs. old) will probably outgrow it in a year or two. Wonder if it was ever available in adult sizes...? _________________ Dan and daughter, Samantha - We Love Eisley! |
