ok, i KNOW this is bad coming fm a college student. but i am extremely NOT familiar with music biz... on the eisley fb page, the guy announced that their new EP will be available as a digipac with a litho. what's a litho and what's a digipac? poster? and while i'm completely embarrassing myslef on this topic, anyone wanna tell me what EP stands for? this took me months of searching. i recently found out that LP is for long playing. and i'm guessing EP is for short? _________________ The world will see me when I'm ready to show myself. Not sure exactly what "digipac" means, but a litho is a little print of a picture, type thing. It's short for lithograph if that helps you look it up for a more detailed answer. EP stands for "Extended Play" _________________ my name's carrie and i love a good sandwich so if you have a sandwich, come roll with me! i'm gonna marry the mars volta. |

EP stands for "extended play," and they're essentially glorified singles or mini-albums. They tend to be 3-5 songs long (but are sometimes longer). A digipac is that paper/cardboard foldout envelope style of packaging. And yeah, a litho is basically a poster/print. Hope that helps! _________________ My photography:www.jamiemphoto.com You can't spell awesome without emo...backwards! -Julie definingawesome (11:44:11 PM): Eisley shivers our timbers |

Digipac is how Laughing City and Marvelous Things were packaged, for visual reference. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Yeah, the digipac appeals to me a lot more than a slick standard jewel case, and I think it fits Eisley better, with unbroken wraparound artwork and such. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
