the way he renders lyrics, it makes sense, I can hear it in my head already. Plus it fits the quiet-loud-quiet format. Given his acoustic set at Brewtones, if it's him solo that song goes right along with what I heard from the vids there. If folks liked him at that show, I bet this cover will be a perfect compliment to that. _________________ yup, that's my name. I always liked it! It was the first video I saw of them! They played it on the Disney Channel or Nickelodeon, one! That was ages ago though! I got the impression that the band was tired of that song, but I look forward to the cover, nonetheless! _________________ Mike=] |

Hmm. I'm actually vaguely optimistic about this. If Max chose to cover an Eisley song I actually like, and I don't like his cover, the song could be ruined for me. But since he's doing "Telescope Eyes," that won't be a problem! _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |
