I know there may already be an old poll for this, but a quick search didn't dig it up and I don't want to bump an old one. I have male friends who just don't listen to music that is performed by women on GP, they just don't like it, with few exceptions. Anyways, that said, though it says nothing really, what's the ratio of posting fans on the LC as far as XX vs. XY... _________________ yup, that's my name. I figured it might happen. Anthro/ Soc major right here, but also Comm Theory and Rhetoric, so I know people will read what they want. I don't care really, my first thought was not Engendering. For those who take it to mean Gender, the construct, vs. Sex, put what you want. Folks who make an issue of that aren't typically non-conformists anyway, so why make a fuss over rules when braking rules is your M.O.? If your straddle the line biologically or in the way you engender yourself, well that's what Other is for. Guess I'm practicing "Won't Ask, Don't Care" ? and for those who will bring up folks with 3 chromosomes: if you're making an issue of it, Other is a welcoming place. _________________ yup, that's my name. Well, that 04' poll didn't even have "Other" so I'm a trailblazer. In it's defense it specified sex. I'll be honest, I'm such a prude I didn't want to type the word  , I just have no trust in this board to stay out of the gutter. But hey, I wanted to account for Hermaphrodites, Eunuchs, Pre-ops and Post-ops who don't feel comfortable declaring a definitive sex, they're people too! _________________ yup, that's my name.
