I just want to add that the composition and coloring in the picture is pretty wicked. It almost looks like those are not her arms, and someone elses extended from out of frame. Then, the perspective of her hunching over makes it hard to tell that that's her leg in the background. And the greens add that extra vibe. I'm sure somebody will cop that for an avatar in no time. beautiful photo! (and beautiful subject matter )
As for the long fingers...I think it's an optical illusion.. I think Stacy's hands (her palms) look smaller due to foreshortening from their angle to the camera, their close proximity to the lens, and probably the wide angle of the lens itself. The illusion of smaller palms makes her fingers look even longer. But why do Sherri and Stacy think that September is the month of pumpkins and Halloween? Is it the true month for those in the know, or is it because they'll be on tour during October? _________________

Nah... they just don't want to have to post anything next month, so this is like paying bills a month ahead of time before you go on vacation... at least that's my cynical view that I don't really believe. Looks like wide angle distortion to me. The fingers look bigger because they're closer to the lens, and she looks smaller because she's further away. |
