So that we don't take over a whole thread, I figured it'd be useful to make one for this specific show. Plus, I know I'll at least be posting photos after.

I'm going! I know I don't post much (like, twice so far) but I'm a constant lurker. I actually just moved to the west coast, and I'm a little scared about traveling to SF by myself... does anyone know the area around Slim's? I imagine it's not a really tough crowd, but just wanted to check. Also, good ways to get to SF? I'm taking Amtrak but apparently that just goes to Emeryville. Sorry for all the questions, but if anyone knows offhand, I really super appreciate it!

And I am so excited for this show Very Happy

I really really want to see them but I have classes at that time -_- *fail*
Are they planning on having another tour for their coming LP album?
I'd no doubt go to that.

It's not the worst area in SF, but people's cars get broken into there often. Where exactly are you coming from? Here are some directions from google for public transit: directions Those times are for 7pm arrival. Should probably allot a large chunk of buffer time for a public transit trip you've never done. You could also take BART further to the Glen Park BART station near where I live, and I can give you a ride to the venue from here. That way you can have an escort.

Classes, which happen like every day...or Eisley, which happens much less often... Razz Razz Razz

that's a slam-dunk affirmative. at last update they figured the LP will drop at the tail end of winter, so tour could happen around March/April. (best-case scenario, of course.)

I like Slims. I'm taking BART into the city.

If you drive to Slims don't leave anything out in the open inside your car. A lot of smash and grab. Even for small things like a simple CD.

Boy, thanks so much to both of you! Californians are good people. Unfortunately, I'm coming from class at UC Davis so I will be getting there a bit late. But I think I have now figured out how to get there safely. I'll be the nerd in the red Eisley shirt Wink

I'll be the one in the yellow sweater, either talking too loudly or being extremely quiet, with an ugly camera bag. If you come up and say hi to me chances are I'll love you, I'm just that friendly. Razz I'm quite excited.

This is the first photo of quite a few to come. The lighting was terrible so excuse the quality. It was a great time.
