Some threads from 2007 and early 2008 were about the anticipation of the Stacy Dupree interviewing of Stevie Nicks, but I am not finding (and do not recall) a thread for after it actually showed up online. So discuss the interview here in this thread. http://www.foammagazine.com/art_and_music/leather-and-lace She did a very good job. And it was like they were interviewing each other. And some great insight. What are your thoughts? |

Thanks! Never even knew that happened. That's cool that she got to do that. I can tell that it was a much longer conversation, and probably even more interesting, based on the bit there and Stevie's interview in Rossana Arquette's documentary All We Are Saying. She's a very thoughtful and open interview subject. _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. Same here! Never knew about that! I remember seeing the cover Stevie was talking about somewhere. Didn't think about there being a back story to it. She was kind of positive about WB. Like Stacy said they haven't pressured them into anything of that nature! _________________ Mike=] |

^ it was nearly two years ago though, when the tour for Combinations was getting together. Things were... different then. _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. LC > FB = personal fave = Eisley fans should dig it |

This is ridiculously ironic (in the alanis morissette use of the word) because I was just thinking about this interview on my drive home. all because my iPod shuffled from Rhiannon to The Valley. Weird. yeah, Boyd wrote about it. i can't remember if i ever read the finished story either. _________________ I am Torgo. I take care of the place while the Master is away. |

Now that Silver Springs remake is out by Stacy, I wonder if Stacy and Stevie discussed anything off the record? I guess we will never know. But interesting that Stacy did the Silver Springs thing at about the same time Eisley is leaving WB. I note the song Silver Springs (Stevie's song about the break up with Lindsey Buckingham) was left off the album Rumours (a slap in the face to Stevie), and was relegated to the B side of Go Your Own Way (Lindsey's song about Stevie, so another slap in the face at Stevie), and ultimately Stevie left Fleetwood Mac over it. So is Stacy saying anything to WB with this release of Silver Springs ? If not, it is an interesting choice of songs for someone currently in love (with Stacy's engagement announcement just out). |
