There was a band i saw play with Agent Yellow and others at NSU in central louisiana a while back. I think they were called Moss Eisley but i remember them having to change their name to Neverland. Is this the same band? Did they change their name back to Moss Eisley and then to Eisley? I looked in the little FAQ but it doesn't mention the name Neverland.

I really enjoyed this band at NSU and was hoping this might be one and the same....

if i remember correctly, they called themselves Neverland for only a short time , in between "Moss Eisley" and when they officially named themsleves "Eisley", about a year ago. The second time i ever saw them, they were billed as "Neverland" by the club in their advertisements.

When the band first began like 6 years ago, the were 'The Towheads", and, at one point , also for a short time, i think they were called "Sinclair", though that was way before i knew of them, and i don't know for how long they called themselves that, or exactly when it was.

As soon as they found out that Michael Jackson's place was called Neverland, they changed their name instantly.

they might get sued by him.
looking for lawsuits everywhere.
george lucas and michael jackson. glad they changed their name. although neverland sounds kinda cool and so does moss eisley. now we have eisley no lawsuit there.

it's late and my response is ridiculous.
but yours made me laugh. and thats all that counts.

lmao, that's hilarious

I remember Chauntelle talking about their Sinclair and Towhead days. But yeah, this was a wayyyyy while back. I think, not too sure, around the time or before Stacy started songwriting. I never knew about the name "Neverland" though. I guess I learn something new every day.

ah, Neverland...
That was about a year ago, wasn't it? There was even an article written about the band at that time, so Neverland was actually in print. Glad they ended up being Eisley, though. I think I have that article around here somewhere... *goes off looking through the piles*
