I find myself going back to that tune time and time again (the Room Noises version).

To me it is the perfect example of an Eisley tune. The music, the harmonies.
And I think the video fits the song perfectly as well.

I used to think HATS or Mr Pine were my favorites. but more and more i find myself pulling towards Memories.

This used to be one of my least favorite Eisley songs, until this summer. I was listening to Room Noises on the way home from work, and it came on, and I guess the song clicked for me. I agree with you about the music, the harmonies. The lyrics are so vivid and emotional, and the harmonies are intricate enough that I really had to work to figure them out.

I'd put "Memories" in my top 5, probably.

Yeah, 'Memories' is a quintessentially Eisley song! I love it! But I seem to recall that when I first saw the video, around 2007, that Jon was in it! But I've never been able to find that, so I'm probably crazy! Although Garron hadn't joined the band until after Room Noises was released Confused Be that as it may, it is a cool video! Smile

Very Happy it's a good one, and it's got 3 key shifts and 3 different tempos making it Not Simple melodically, but maybe it's a little girly, I don't know Wink

The harmony in the second verse is new. Or louder. Or something. But I would've remembered being wowed like that before.

Sounds like it's up a third or something from the original...

i think it's the same. they're not singing a fifth apart. i think it's just louder and stands out differently because it's not being mixed in a studio.

i agree that it sounds stupendous though.
