BTW, Anybody remember where the interview is where Sherri says that she's more direct in her writing and Stacy is more abstract??? Because of that I retroactively think of Stacy when I think of the more "Out There" Eisley songs, which is the inverse of what everyone is saying here. I guess with Sherri's photos and drawings being featured in all the Eisley graphics as well as what she shares, in that way she's created a persona artistically that fits with their more surreal material, then boom pow, in your face comes Smarter, Sad, & 192 Days and Kind, Ambulance, The Valley which fits what she said in the interview, the shifted being, them writing from true experiences, so the mythical allusions are lessened and replaced with poetic expression of facts over fiction. I might be reading this wrong, but Stacy wrote The Valley, Kind, and Ambulance, not Sherri. I have always been able to tell the difference between their writing, and I think that Sherri's has definitely had the biggest impact on Eisley's "vibe" but Stacy has an incredible ability to twist and bend and use language unconventionally. |

Yeah, miss-communication. I implied more than I wrote. The first 3 are Sherri Songs, and the latter 3 or Stacy songs as far as I know, and I thought they fit what Sherri said in the aforementioned interview, with the first three being direct reactions to things that happened, literal emotions, like journal entries. The latter three being poetic takes on emotional experiences courtesy of Stacy. That's what I was trying to express in my words. Language Fail on my part. I assumed listing them in two separate groups and saying it backed up what she said was my own self-referential way of stating the latter 3 were Stacy songs. I wrote No such thing, but I thought it _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. Well, this news is an early Christmas present for me! Also, STACY WAS IN SPRINGFIELD LAST WEEK?! Clearly I need to spend more time in coffeehouses. Come back soon Stacy, so I can bump into you on the street and pretend to not be a stalker. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

Holy SCHNAZZLE PAZZLE! Really stoked about this and what it entails, especially after that "Silver Spring" collab between the three of them. _________________ "I cannot discuss your verses; for any attempt at criticism would be foreign to me.
