Hey everyone! We're less than TWO WEEKS away from "The Valley" official release date. Lots happening & a couple things I wanted to comment on... Yesterday the EVR/MerchNow crew made the trek out to Boston from Albany and had the pleasure of delivering "The Valley" CDs & vinyl to the band. Seeing their faces made me feel like a proud momma... Although we're like the same age haha. Hearing their struggles with previous labels, hearing the stories behind these songs, and then struggling myself to get this record from "those who must not be named"... it's been a rollercoaster! But it's all been worth it and yesterday was a huge payoff. We'll have photos from our day with them yesterday up on our blog later today. The band signed the 200 lithos yesterday for the pre-order. We were originally only going to do 100, then Boyd asked if we could make more so we agreed upon 200. But when you order 200 of something, there's usually an overrun and in the case of these lithos, there was an overrun of about 100 so we figured we'll put those up in the store as well but they wont be hand-numbered/signed and a little cheaper than the original package. That is up now on their merch store. So, to clarify the "selling early/not selling early" confusion - it was just a miscommunication/misunderstanding. The reason we don't want to sell early is because the second an un-watermarked copy is out there, it will end up on a billion torrent sites. The reason we can't sell early is because if we sell before a certain date, it wont count towards Soundscan. Now, originally that certain date was the 24th. HOWEVER, they will be able to sell beginning Monday, February 21st!! Saving the best for last: Even if you aren't going to see Eisley next week, you can listen to the ENTIRE album, next week!!!  I'm so so so so excited for you all to hear it. I'll post details here when it goes live but it will be streaming online. Should be Monday but you never know what could happen.

Does this mean that those of us that preordered with a digital copy will get the digital copy on the 21st now? _________________ Trying to find my way around a dark life, always breaking the important things... |
