After hearing the clips from Amazon I have to say that the song I'm most excited to hear is "I Wish". I love the way Stacy and Sherri trade off the lyrics. How about y'all? _________________ |

even stevens. For Me at least, this will be there most cohesive and enjoyable album to listen to in a musical sense. Based on what I've heard, it's going to flow very well, with each song being so dynamic, as far as elements and changes that occur (meaning it wont get boring) but the whole thing sounds like they wrote with the Stage in mind. So I sincerely look forward to the experience of listening to the entire album front to back. It's got me thinking of Death Cab's Plans based on what we've heard thus far. For key songs the vibes match up very well, and I would hope Eisley does just as well as they did (which is bittersweet since WB wasn't behind this record even though they are firmly behind DCFC, what gives ) The Valley ≅ Soul Meets Body Kind ≅ I Will Follow You Into The Dark _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. LC > FB = personal fave = Eisley fans should dig it |

after 'juan_diego' said about listening to the clips on amazon, i hadn't heard anything new since 'combinations' (what does it show about my personality that i don't mind waiting, i'm still happy with the laughing city Ep which boyd emailed me:D ) out of the list i would say my fav two to listen to would be Smarter & Watch It Die (first listen was oooh little regina spektor-esque) saying that 'I Wish' does sound intreging. am thinking do i order it on amazon or wait to see if it comes into the shop in town... hmmm _________________ flickr.com/notathome smile |

For me "I Wish," but I really can't think of a song I'm NOT excited to hear! In fact, the more I think about it, the more I'm assured that even on the songs we've heard, the recorded version will be a new listening experience to enjoy! (That seems obvious, but was proven to me on a song like "Smarter." I enjoy all the little nuances in the recorded version that is hard to reproduce/hear live.) |

I've been trying not to listen to the new stuff too much... so I honestly can't say which ones I'm the most excited for. I'm just excited. For some reason, I'm always drawn more to the Stacy-er (stacier?) songs, but Sherri's songs this time around are really pulling me in. I can't decide! _________________ You can't find love; you have to create it. Flickr |

Yeah it's a cop-out answer but true. I haven't even listened to the remixed Valley or Ambulance. It's gonna be an 11-song blast of amazing newness. So stop making me think more about it with threads like these until the drop date arrives or I may implode. _________________ http://www.twitter.com/drstrangeblog http://www.last.fm/user/getinline I can't find the time to write my mind the way I want it to read. |
