I was thinking. There are alot of people who have done good Eisley cover songs. I remember Ambulance had a whole bunch like a week after it came out. Who here has done any Eisley covers? This could be fun. _________________ http://zenblade9.deviantart.com/ |

I've done covers of If You're Wondering, I Wasn't Prepared, Smarter and We Had Voices. They're just recordings though and they're not great. _________________ cynlovescandy wrote: kulvir wrote: I bet R. Kelly approves of peeing in the shower. The world is R. Kelly's shower. I lost all my old Eisley covers when my old computer died. Maybe I'll re-record some. _________________ You can't find love; you have to create it. Flickr |

I did Marvelous Thing ( I know, what an obvious cover to pick ) back in 2008, but it have never been posted online, I only ever emailed to someone because it was for them. Then I played a show and it was the only song (amidst some of my best originals ever) that anyone asked me about. A guy in a jam band from Kansas (Audio Spaghetti) said it was "Cool" I need to go back and listen to it, and I may consider re-posting. I'd rather do a song with backing instrumentation instead of voice and acoustic like I did that one, so we'll see. I'll think about a good one to do that won't emasculate me too much. I've been working out a guitar part that mimics the vocal line and strings for The Valley, and I did mention an imaginary LP3 cover album in that other thread, so why not start here??? _________________ yup, that's my name. Well does anyone know of any well done Eisley covers that other people have done? My favorite band in the world is Bad Religion and i was so excited to find a girl who does acoustic versions of bad religion songs. http://www.youtube.com/user/2hamsters1couple And as for Eisley songs KLafied posted Ambulance about a week after the song came out and she has done a few Eisley songs. http://www.youtube.com/user/kLafied Anyone know of some really well done Eisley covers? _________________ http://zenblade9.deviantart.com/ |

I did a cover of Blackened Crown... a long time ago. I never posted it and then it died along with my computer a few years back. I have no intentions of doing anything else like that ever again. It's for the better. _________________ Be happy, be contagious. |

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SXHwgo-NeFI The front side is real good but near the middle to the end she falls apart. nice voice but it could have been more polished. And i don't get why she starts to cry at the end. _________________ http://zenblade9.deviantart.com/ |

^ maybe it's better we don't know. The idea of that song and the way it can relate to people's lives is really loaded. It's bittersweet. _________________ yup, that's my name.
