Not to be the Debbie downer, but I don't really like most of the album. Torch Song, The Bat and the Cave, Two of a Crime and the pre-chorus of "Little Light" are the only redeeming moments on the album, in my opinion. Other than that, I feel like the rest of the album is throw away material. |

Forget Debbie Downer, that's Downright Devin Destroyer or Daffney Debaser level dismissal daganabit! _________________ yup, that's my name. FOR YOUR RATING PLEASURE: 4 LIKE Buttons, 1 NEUTRAL, 1 VEXED, 5 DISLIKE buttons. LC > FB = personal fave = Eisley fans should dig it |

Finally giving it a listen, and it just so happens that on You're Welcome they harmonize together the best I've ever heard them. The more of the album I heard the more it becomes pretty obvious that what they really need to do is be backed by a proper pop rock band. Great examples of them meshing: You're Welcome http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ifkyhadZ00Y&list=PL-XbTEkQt3TY4hPO1vLjt hqIQ6mffEAtR The Bat and the Cave http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=djIT9thiM2A&list=PL-XbTEkQt3TY4hPO1vLjt hqIQ6mffEAtR _________________ yup, that's my name. Perma's not really my cup of tea, but I actually think Sherri sounds quite good on She Chose You. Not a terrible song either. Edit: Torch song too. TIL Sherri can sing when she wants to! _________________ Albert Camus wrote: Always go too far, because that's where you'll find the truth. |

Ah $#@!, forget it. This album sounds way less cheesier this go. I kind of like it... You put a little light in my heart and I can't conceal it. God, I might even love it... _________________ Albert Camus wrote: Always go too far, because that's where you'll find the truth. |

Yeah, I feel like a tool for being so reluctant to give it a listen. The latter half of the record is definitely the stronger portion as far as my taste. _________________ yup, that's my name. They're coming to town with Matt Pryor (who, as Tara knows, I'll pretty much never miss) so I'll see what this whole Perma thing is about in December. _________________ EvilSpace |
