There was a lot of personal information about their lives in those threads that is well past them at this point, be it about family and relationship matters, and even music business interactions that in retrospect they make want to keep close to the vest going forward, so I can see them pulling that stuff away and letting the music speak for itself in that regard. _________________ yup, that's my name. Always keeping an eye out for new stuff I've never heard before, and as of late there is more of it of high quality. Here one's for six degrees of separation: I was a fan of Chocolate Genius Inc. Who is the Father of Tessa Thompson and father of Zsela, who evokes Joni Mitchell & Beth Orton https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LDmqIWi77P8 And connecting some other dots in multiple ways: Monica Martin was in Phox, and did a Violents Album with Jeremy Larson, and has a solo album on the way and the first two singles have been ear worms. If you ever wonder what could have happened if the retro indie pop flourishes of Eisley were influenced a generation of young singer songwriters, kind of like they did in Merriment, what it might sound like??? Monica has one of those "just on the cusp of faltering" vibratos like Christie, that conveys so much emotion without pushing on straining. Well check out Cruel (has a casual cuss) https://youtu.be/9T-7MRj7-b4 And for that quasi trip hop mood music vibe they Eisley can conjure up? And then check out Thoughtless ( another casual cuss ) https://youtu.be/0___viFMFjY _________________ yup, that's my name.
