well....I guess we're getting out tonight... to a little club in Hollywood (Hotel Cafe) to see our friend Anne - (Darin's girl) and signed to Capitol, working on her record these days. She's cool...Carol Kingish. singer songwriter... piano. I think she wants the girls to sing back up on one song or something. either way, we're going just to support her and get out of the apartment. 11:00 show. fun, huh? where can we hear Anne. she sounds pretty chill and i enjoy piano'esque like music. especially with a girl voice. im sure its a pretty voice too cos shes on capitol. i imagine a Norah Jones or a female version of rufus wainwright.. am i right or wrong? _________________ Bærinn minn/ Bærinn minn og þinn/ Sefur sæll à kyrrð/ Fellur mjöll/ Hljótt à húmi á jörð/ Grasið mitt/ Grasið mitt og þitt/ Geymir mold til vors/ bjork. |

well, the girls aren't singing... not tonight. maybe another time when they could learn a song. But we are going. I don't think there's anything on line yet. She's sorta intelligent, folksy-acoustic-alt-introspective...very good voice, but not jazzy like Nora. More Carol King-ish but not as primative. Song structure isn't as classic...moves through introspective conciousness, but surely reflects on her life, hurt pain...etc. _________________ EisleyWebGuy "The industrialists never saw the fruit of their own labor - Post Moderism, which I now proclaim as dead.
