WOW!!!.... that was so freaken awesome. probably the best show i've ever been to. i got there about 6: 15 pm and there was already like 300 people in line, and 20 min later there was about 2000, so i got there just in time, most of the tickets are gen adm, so i had a pretty good spot. finaly they opened the doors and the crazyness started to set in. i was about 20 feet from the stage right in the middle, it was packed, i could hardly move, the whole time i was scanning the crowd for dupree's and finally like 10 min before they were supost to go on, i saw westons head, pop up out of the crowd, so looked closer and sure enough all of the mosseisleyns, including boyd, kim and the rest of the family, were right by the back stage entrance, so i told my friends to try and hold my place, so i then proceded to push my way through the crowd twords the moss i finaly made it out of the pit of people that was rapedly growing, as people were still coming in. i then exchanged short hugs and hello's, wished them good luck, they all had this glazed over look in there eyes like they were dreaming or something, sherri looked like she had just seen a gost, or was about to to see one and was dreading it. i then made my way back through the maze of people, exuse me, sorry about your toes, and trying to aviod getting beer spilled on me, well i made it back to my spot just in time, for moss to walk on stage and humbly pick up their guitars....the lights went down and................................................................... ............. BAM!!! over the mountains we go came blaring out of the huge stacks of speakers on each side of the stage, and the bum....bum bum.....of the kick drum and bass came thumping through subs with the kind of punch that hits you right in the chest. a look of intrige came over the crowd around me, and all through the show i could hear mermerings of, who is this again? and man there really good, or geez they look really young. they finished their first song to the sound of, well screaming from me and my freinds, and good steady aplas from the surrounding crowd. without saying a word they went directly into telescope eyes, it rocked. more people started bobing their heads and taping there feet, as the tunes of mosseisley washed through their brains, after telescope eyes, and the trademark humble "thank you" from stacy and sherri, chauntelle aproched her mic, her hands shaking slightly, and her voice a little to, says "thank you so much, were mosseisley and were are from tyler TX " followed by woo woos, claping and once again more sceaming from me and friends, they then played mr. pine and sun feet and ended with tree tops, but not before thanking coldplay and telling everyone about the web site and saying thanks afew more times, over all they were awesome you should have heard the crowd after they were done, no one was going into convoltions, but there were alot of woo woos and steady claping for a good bit after they were done. it rocked!!! so moss awesome job to the max..... next came ron sexsmith, good band just not my favorite kind of music, but hey i cant bash the guy, my band isnt on a nation wide tour with coldplay......but anyway fast fwd....to cold play.....hmmm. well i don't really know were to start, it was awesome, there was a good 20 min break in between sexsmith and coldplay which really built the tenstion up, but right before they started i saw the moss people up on the vip ballcony and ya chauntelle was sitting right next to freakin Gwyneth Paltrow, ok so who cares it's just a movie star, but i don't know i though it was pretty cool, kinda weird actually seeing someone that's in all thease movies and stuff in person, i always tend to think those people don't really exist. but anyway back to coldplay they started out with politic and after that it was like a big party everyone singing along and haveing fun it was awesome. they put on like the best show ever. i wont give away the details for those of you who have yet to see them, but just be prepaired t rock your socks off. whooo moss and coldplay a very good thing. anyway i'm tired and my back is sore from standing in the same spot for two and a half hours so good night to all...............dave ps i love you moss, coldplay and Gwyneth.....hehehehe _________________ "the best way to serve an age is to betray it" www.myspace.com/daverask |

My first concert ever, and now i know it'll ruin all future concerts because nothing will ever live up to it. my girl and i were upset, because we were going to have to listen to 2 warm up bands, when we were so psyced about ColdPlay..... but after MossEisley started.... OMG, we were hooked, i can't wait to get the CD, it's great music, i love every single song. |

dave, Your review delighted me. *breaths in and out slowly.* I love shows were the music wraps a melodic blanket around you until ever part is touched. Thats what coldplay was like. I wish i could have seen moss (i went to a coldplay show in new orleans). |
