 Post subject: Pruning the forumPosted: Thu Apr 22, 2004 10:25 am 
We're probably going to allow the forum to auto-prune itself; after 30 days of no activity, posts in Shameless, General and Music will be deleted. Otherwise every random post on this forum will have a half life...and we'll all die of post radiation. Any thoughts? We don't have to...but eventually, it could get out of hand. I like it. Hopefully it will encourage people to keep the really good threads since I've noticed a lot of people just post for absolutely no reason whatsoever and the posts that really should be read are pushed to the 2nd page within 5 minutes. Hopefully it will decrease the abuse on the server too. Anyway, bravo! |
