Now I'm aware that on the 4th of july you guys use copious amounts of fireworks. Some people love them, some people think they are a huge waste of money.Where do you stand?

I personally love watching fireworks, especially big professional ones like on new years eve and big events and such.

We are not allowed to have fireworks here anymore,we used to have a fireworks night but because of a few idiots who blew off limbs by being stupid with them the whole country had to suffer.

My favourite when I was a kid was the ones where it shoots up in the air so high then explodes in a million different colours then a man in a parachute floats to the ground and you try to catch it

it's pronounced "chasdew"

i just like to watch them now. when i was in high school we would have roman candle fights where we'd drive around and shoot them at each other's car ( i went to HS in the country so this was "normal" ). I did some incredibly stupid things in high school.

I don't care for the shows much I'd rather shoot them off myself, blowing up action figures with firecrackers...priceless

But I have had some bad experiences like a couple years back on New Years one of those spinning things took off and hit me, luckily I had a jacket on, so it didn't hurt me just scared the crap out of me and knocked my glasses off Embarassed

I hate them. They were nice and pretty the first few times now there just loud and annoying. It doesn't help that just about every single person in my town buys $200 bucks worth. Rolling Eyes
