is it the piano, or the organ? i mean, one would automatically think the piano, but the keyboard can represent so many different sounds, sort of like an organ, but at the same time an electric guitar can represent a lot of different sounds via effects pedals, and thats essentially what's built into the keyboard. so i leave it to the debate of the forum to settle which is the acoustic version of the keyboard.

i would think a digital piano is in a completely different league. it uses computer chips to sound like acoustic instruments. im assuming by "keyboard" you mean like a digital keyboard?

an electric guitar sounds different than an acoustic guitar. so technically the "electric" version of an acoustic piano would be an electric piano, like a Rhodes or Wurlitzer, not a digital piano. they use analog hammer methods to produce sound, although with tines and pickups instead of just strings.it produces a different sound, but so does an electric guitar compared to an acoustic.

eh i hope that's what you meant.

well since acoustic means that it requires no outside power to make its noises, i would say piano. but i guess a harpsicord is too, is it? ive neevr played one but i always have wanted to. my favorite instrument is the piano, i play it allll the time.....woohoooo
