Or we could meet on the stairs, I remember security telling people to get off the stairs last time I was there. Maybe not a good idea. Also I remember the merchandise table being rather hard to get to, due to a large line, but where not going to let something like that get in the way. How shall we identify those from the board? Here's a lame idea, wear the same color shirt, or better yet wear the same shirt. Ok, that was lame. There has got to be something. We could tack a sign to the wall reading, "Eisley boardies meet here." They should just let us backstage, that would be easier. I'll be there rain or shine, not that the weather has anything to do with the show, since it's not outside. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/whisperingtrees |

I havnt been to the metro yet, but im gonna see MCR there pretty soon, so i'll look around for some spots for boardies to meet but i love all of chicagos venues, theyre beautiful^__^ the detail and the old architecture gives it such a cool feeling ! hooray for our venues! all the ones in L.A. just seem bleh - they dont really have any special culture or character... Hmph You should come, it would be a blast. The Metro is a really great venue. _________________ http://www.myspace.com/whisperingtrees |

The Troubadour/Roxy/Whisky are all steeped in rock history. The Doors, Elton John, Jackson Browne ... all started at those places. The Palladium is another cool one with the ballroom feel. The Olympic is another classic. I've seen two great shows there, Morrissey and Tom Petty and it's awesome with its old boxing arena feel. The Hollywood Bowl, the Derby, the Fonda, th Gypsy Lounge (where I first saw Richard Swift!), Hotel Cafe and a ton of clubs that change names annually are all great places for different reasons. _________________ "It's the new golden fact." |

Anyway, I just got my Metro news letter and I saw "Eisley" and I was like, "that can't be right." I came on here and I was even more surprised. I am so skipping school to see this show! Monday is such a crappy day anyway. I can't wait though. I hope the new album will be out by then. I think we all should meet and party. _________________ "What's with these homies dissing my girl?" - Weezer "I think I know I mean a yes but it's all wrong, that is I think I disagree." - Beatles My Livejournal |

The Metro is cool, but after they get famous they should play at millenium park. Just imagine hearing Eisley through all those speakers. _________________ "Aren't we all hanging from a fragile vine awaiting an inevitable plunge to doom while mice gnaw at our temporary safety? That park looks a-freaking-mazing! I'll be at this show, 110% guaranteed. The merch area sucks to meet at, because it's like a merch-hole-in-the-wall right by the door... whereas the venue is actually upstairs from there. I'd suggest the balcony area.. right behind the bar is a booth-type area.. long bench, no tables. _________________ "The revolution starts today, not tomorrow." :: got g-Love? |
