I don't know if anyone else has realized this, but a lot of indie acts like Air, Radio4, and the Polyphonic Spree (to name a few), have had their music featured in commercials. Personally, I'd like to see Eisley get a one too. I think it'd get there music much deserved attention. But I guess the danger is that the music could become overexposed or misinterpreted. |

Actually, I've always objected to songs being in commercials. It kind of changes the emotional meaning of a song for me and really the last thing I want to happen is to see a soda or something and start thinking of the Eisley song being used to advertise it or vice versa. I mean, it would be nice to have some better music (at least in my opinion) in commercials, but the idea has always kind of bothered me. Eh, that's just my take on it. _________________ Blaahg Mahspace Audioscrobbler

They could do Starkist tuna and have Sea King playing. ANd they could be Pirates or put fishbowls over their heads and act like deep sea divers....or maybe not and have Weston eat a tuna fish sandwich. Thats an ad i can see them star in and play music to, even though Sea King has no real realtions to the starkist tuna fish. _________________ -Greg Durant- |
