I don't know if any one has ever made this comparison, but has any one noticed that Eisley sounds like Kate Bush? Well... in an indie/more guitars/less synths/not so 1980's alt. rock sounding way. |

I gotta tell ya, I love both Eisley and Kate Bush, but they are so not alike. Eisley write uncomplicated ethereal pop songs; Kate can't help but sabotage all of her 'catchiness' with whacked out vocal effects and twisted arrangements. (And I love her for it.) By the way, has anybody heard the Decemberists live version of 'Wuthering Heights'? (Petra Haden on vocal) Beautiful job on what must be a very difficult song to sing. _________________ "If those are my last words, I can do better." |
