I'm not really sure about how to tell who sings what on the songs. Mostly i'm wondering who sings the "i'm always wondering where you are" part on "Memories?"

Thanks

Bufffffffyyyyyy--- Very Happy

Stacy:
He was throwing grain into the ground below, ground below
With dreary circles of his arm, going slow, very slow
His cap pulled down roun' his ears to
hide the smile and watery tears

Sherri:
My loving wife is so wonderful
how small seeds gracefully to grow
into musical things that spring from these rows
With their musical names and musical sound

Stacy:
Dreary birds parade across the dreary sky, but down below
the woman absent mindedly begins to sow, how she sows the
seeds her husband loved so much, but he's no longer
here with us

Sherri:
But her life is so beautiful
as memories continue to grow
into musical things that spring from these rows
With their musical names and musical sound
Beautiful things that spring from these rows
with their musical names and musical sounds, and musical sounds

Stacy:
Distant tho I am
orange, gold, and green
firing, flaming, colors surround me

Sherri:
I was just wondering where you are?
I was just wondering where you are?

Stacy:
Darling shouldn't I be the one
wondering after all I am the one who is gone
Darling shouldn't I be the one
wondering after all I am the one who is gone

Sherri:
I was just wondering

Stacy:
I was just wondering

Sherri
I was just wondering

Stacy:
I'm the one...who is gone
I'm the one...who is gone
who is gone

Both:
But, there's beautiful things that spring from these rows
With their musical names, and musical sounds
there's beautiful things that spring from these rows
With their musical names, and musical sounds
and musical sounds.

P.S. I'm in school too! Laughing

Oh yeah? Well, I post at work! Surprised

Yeah, Sherri has the higher pitched parts ... listening to Memories will let you hear the differences between their voices. I can tell them apart most of the time now, but I still get surprised every now and then. heh. Stacy has a fuller, lower voice. Showcased very well at the beginning of Marvelous Things.

Anyway, see them live and it gets much easier to figure out. Smile

it actually took me a while to realise that stacy sings the second verse of "i wasn't prepared", and i was a pretty surprised when i learned that stacy sings the first verse of "silver bugs". overall i think it is hard to mistake sherri for stacy, but stacy will sometimes sound a little like what you'd expect of sherri.

the real challenge would be to figure out chauntelle's vocals on the LP.

i can totally tell stacy's voice from sherri's....stacy is a bit smoother and robust overall.

Sherri and Stacy's voices fit so beautifully together....
Sherri is more often the higher part, but there are some songs and verses within songs where it is reversed, and Stacy sings high and Sherri lower....if you're bored sometime, put on some good headphones and listen closely to it. You'll be amazed at how they blend together so well.

I don't remember hearing about that. Very Happy Did she ever do any before then/does she do any live? I remember seeing that she has her own mic in a lot of pictures...

I thought Chauntelle had the mic turned off live, didn't she? I didn't hear her singing at all, even though it looked like she was, and she was moving her lips and everything...
