Quote: Their sedated harmonies oozed out over the audience with a hypnotic drone I got a kick out of this. I honestly think he just took a wonderful review and wrote the opposite. Was he even there? I assume not.. Replace sedated with 'sublime' and drone with 'dynamism'...now that's a sentance. _________________ "Every gun that is made, every warship launched, every rocket fired, signifies in the final sense a theft from those who hunger and are not fed, those who are cold and are not clothed." A couple of things are evident to me in this review. Sure, she is entitled to her own opinion, but, i believe it takes more than just a bad opinion to then become so scathing in a review. Something is amiss. Emily Strong is a girl who associates with music ( she obviously reviews shows). She seems to have had a long fascination with Snow Patrol, so of course cannot give a very objective review of their show. Perhaps she is a musician, or once wanted to be a musician? Now she is only able to watch shows and write about them. Seeing a very good and female act like Eisley is probably painful for her. Talented girls, something she never was. Perhaps she's just a frustrated girl, jealous of Eisley because not only are they talented, but they also got to spend an entire tour with Emily's fantasy guys, Snow Patrol. |

You're obviously a psychoanalytical master, dude! Seriously, what could possess someone to write something so horrible? "Frozen smiles"? Was she paying attention? The Eisley folks are completely warm and genuine. Some people just don't get it. _________________ INTELLECT AND ROMANCE OVER BRUTE FORCE AND CYNICISM Smokemonster |

I didn't think it was scathing or OTT to be honest, especially after some of the things I've read on this forum in the past,I just think it was written by a person who doesn't like the band & was there solely to see the headliners, although I must admit The things I didn't like about the review were if she disliked eisley so much then why write so much about them, why not concentrate on her more positive writing (i.e snow patrol) and the one part i really thought was wrong was her screaming out a smartass comment to the band during their set. She's supposed to be (somewhat of) a professional Anybody who screams out smartass comments to bands are fools at the end of the day who really cares? for every emily strong out there there are 100 good reviews _________________
