![]() Posted: Sat Nov 06, 2004 3:27 am ![]() NEW YEARS EVE SHOW TICKETS ON SALE NOW! Eisley Headlines Trees in Deep Ellum: NEW YEARS EVE SHOW IS UPON US!! The crescendo of activity surrounding the New Year's Eve Show is starting to take over. Phone calls and plans and logistics and last minute rehearsals, etc. It's THIS Friday!! 0 my. I'll post this somewhere else, but...just talked to Russel (Russel, general manager; was there the night Kurt and infamous band freaked out, crashed instruments over the monitor board, which caused all total chaos and a big fight to break out, etc. - see video out there somewhere from that night Tree's and Nirvana left their mark on rock music). Doors at 8:00 Pilot Drift at 9:45 Radiant at 10:45 Eisley at 11:45 - Out by 2:00am ![]() • Download the Big Poster Pilotdrift Radiant EISLEY http://www.pilotdrift.com http://www.radiantmusic.tv http://trees.com Click Link Below for Tickets: FRONT GATE TICKETS FOR THE EISLEY SHOW TO ANYONE WITH A PRINTER Or wants to help... I'm hoping some of you really agressive, supportive Dallas friends (won't mention any names) might find it in your hearts to print off a few and plaster them around... like, at Good Records or Cafe Brazile or...you know, just anywhere; you're bedroom or your mom's car or you're locker or on telephone posts. The band is suddenly scared that nobody will show because the ticket price is 2 dollars more than last year. Here's the link to the big one. Anyway. Thanks. bd |

I'm working on convincing my parents - rather, I should say my mum (since my pop has no problem with it). She - and others - believe that I am not capable of conducting myself in a "big and dangerous" city. So, I may or may not be stuck in the desolations of East Texas that night... I'll probably buy a ticket in any case... so that I know it will be there for me... That said, I do think I will be there... And out of this place for a little while... _________________ Kyle |

That's why my mum is reluctant to let me go... I am an adult - well, I'm eighteen - but I will be under their roof at the time. I have heard that it is a bit rowdier, but I'm not sure. It didn't seem too bad when I was at the show at The Gypsy. _________________ Kyle |

I was there to see Eisley last NYE. There were lots of people... but things didn't seem out of hand. I would suggest though... arriving early and paying money to park in a well lit place where people are in view. I paid $10 to park in a small lot between a couple of buildings. I think it was worth it. It felt completely safe. I've only been to Deep Ellum twice though so I'm not terribly familiar with the area during any time of the year. _________________ "If you're a ninja, every day is like friday." -Jamie M. |

i'm going to visit my sis in denton and we're going to go. if she doesnt want to, then i'll go by myself. airfare from nyc to dfw is 300 bucks, and i'll get to hang out with the sistah, and see eisley. beats the crap out of times square's 203912-032137832749374 people, and sitting at home doing nothing. _________________ knives don't have your back. |

I would really, really love to go.. We'll just have to see if a ride materializes. Haha, and parental permission is an issue as well. _________________ I want to fly this helicopter. And will it be enough? Me and my wings are very fragile. And is that what you want? |

Haha, and parental permission is an issue as well. Depending on where you are, I may be able to furnish a ride. I would be happy to assist anybody from the East Texas area to get their. That is, I have parental permission - for the most part. They would prefer that hotel arrangements be made... so as not to have to try to drive back... "what with all the drunks and crazies out there on the roads"... Still, a group is a good idea... _________________ Kyle |
